Offered is a vintage Buck Brothers 3/4" outcannel gouge / chisel, as pictured.
Of the highest quality steel, this classic tang style gouge /chisel is about 11-3/4" overall, with an iron length of about 5-7/8" measured cutting edge to tang shoulder and a width of about 3/4" as measured across the top of the iron.
The tool is in excellent condition; clean, no rust or personal markings and has good cutting edge.
Handle is in excellent condition and is marked "BUCK BROS" with the antlered stag logo; no cracks or repairs and no personal markings.
The leather butt cap is in good condition.
