    Description

    This cool old coaster is in excellent condition and has quite a story behind it.
    The Hotel Olds opened in 1926 and was originally erected and operated by the Lansing Community Hotel Corporation, including R.E. Olds.  It was purchased in 1960 by the Jack Tar hotel chain. The hotel was home to the City Club of Lansing from 1960 until 1976 and was then known as the Olds Plaza. After amassing huge debts to creditors, the hotel and its debts were purchased by PRD, Inc., a subsidiary of firms owned by an Alma oilman. Its name was changed again, this time to The Plaza Hotel. It now houses state of Michigan offices and is called the Romney Building.
