Vintage Set of Six Porcelain/Metal Coasters – Made in Germany

Description

This vintage set of coasters was made in Germany.  Each of the six round coasters measures approximately 3” in diameter and ¾” in height and features a bright white porcelain background decorated with a pretty blue and black Art Deco-style design.   A pierced metal fitting surrounds each coaster and is marked with a “Germany” stamp.  Incised into the base of each porcelain coaster is the letter and number, “J 7”.  This vintage set is in good to fair condition with the exception of the following:  A crack on one coaster, two small chips on the porcelain of another coaster, a few manufacturing flaws, some misshapen/dented areas on the metal fittings and tarnish.  Despite these flaws this is an attractive set of vintage drink coasters.
