    Description

    Vintage Merrill & Wilder 1/8” Mortise Chisel.
    Offered is a somewhat uncommon Merrill & Wilder Chisel. A amortizing chisel, measuring 1/8” wide and 7-1/4” long not including handle. Overall in good solid shape, nice and clean. Rust free, some very mild pitting, none that would affect use. It is stamped “MERRIL & WILDER” on the side, however it is fairly worn you can still make it out. It also has the initials “VRH” stamped next to it. It does have a wooden handle that is very tight, no play at all. Handle appears to be user made some time ago but is in good shape. Overall a nice uncommon chisel. It will make a great addition to someone’s collection. Please see photos as they are a part of the description. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
