    Description

    For sale is a vintage socket firmer chisel, weighing 6.8 oz., and measuring 1" wide X 8-1/16" long. Signed "Clearcut" {in script}, it has been ground down by a previous owner to its present 1" width, as shown in the 4th & 5th pictures, and it has a bent socket, as shown in the last two{2} pictures. A internet search identifies the George Worthington Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, as the maker, which operated from 1829-1991. Any straightening,
