    Vintage 1970's-1980's U.S. Military Rip-Stop O.D. Poncho, NOS condition, free shipping
    Nylon rip-stop ponchos are genuine U.S. military surplus. The rip-stop ponchos are light in weight. All are completely waterproof with snap-up sides and grommet holes in corners. One size fits all adults. Snap two together to make a shelter.
    These have legible labels that date them as between 1978 and 1982. No choice, sorry.

    Condition: Unissued surplus with seam sealer residue around the hood (see photo) This should wash out or wear off over time.
    I obtained these in original government boxes of 24 each
    Condition Note:
    Like all US Government Ponchos of this era, these have the residue of an anti-mildew treatment. This treatment gives off a unique smell that is characteristic of all government ponchos.
