    Description

    ORIGINAL U.S. MILITARY ISSUE FLIGHT HELMET BAG.  This bag was issued for storage & carrying of the flight helmet & accessories.  The bag is made of olive drab color nylon with a top zipper (working) closure.  The front side has 2 large pockets featuring snap down & velcro closures.  The inside is padded and features 2 separate pockets to hold accessories.  The inside has the nomenclature tag in place made by S&S Garment Mfg. Co. and dated 82 in the contract number.  Measures about 19 inches X 19 inches.  In overall very good condition showing some wear with a small ink stain to the lower portion on
    one side of the bag.  The owner of this bag neatly wrote his name on both sides - see close up photos.  There are no rips, tears, holes, fray or fade.
