    Description

    TWO U.S. ARMY 1107TH SIGNAL BRIGADE (COLORED/SUBDUED).
he 1107th Signal Battalion Shoulder Sleeve Insignia,
or unit patch, was approved on 6 November 1989 and discontinued on 30 September 1991. Dark blue in the color version of the insignia was adapted from the national colors to symbolize loyalty and devotion, while the gold used for the border and polestar-cum-sword-hilt indicates excellence. The Brigade’s combat readiness is reflected in the upright sword with a polestar for a hilt: suggesting the four main directions of the compass, this imagery denotes the coast-to-coast responsibilities and mission of the unit.
