    Description

These are two socket chisel handles made of Maple wood.
These were test fitted and made to  vintage Stanley 750 chisels.  The type that came with red maroon handles and marked No. 750 on the socket (or chisels with the same profile).   They were not made to fit the newer Stanley 750 Sweetheart chisels that are currently in production.
They are about 3.4-3.5 inches long without the tenon portion of the handle.  The overall, total length with the tenon is about 4.5-4.6  inches.
The larger handle measures about .69 at the large end of the tenon and about .40 inches at the small end of the cone shaped tenon.  This handle was made for and test fitted on a vintage No. 750 chisel with a blade that was 1 inch wide.  These chisels typically have a diameter of about .60 inches across the opening at the top of the socket.   You can check your chisels with a caliper for fit.
The smaller handle measures about .57-58 at the large end of the cone tenon and about .35 at the small end.  This handle will fit vintage No. 750 chisels with blades 3/4 inch or smaller.  These chisels have an opening of about .50 at the top of the socket.  You can measure your chisels at the opening of the socket to see if they will fit.
These chisel handles are made oversize and not meant to fit tight against the shoulder rather they have a space of about 5/16 or 3/8 of an inch between the steel socket and the front shoulder of the handle.  Similar to how the originals were fitted.
These handles were turned by hand and have some variation.  Also the dimensions given are approximations and rounded.  If you have any questions on fitting  or choosing  the correct handle for your chisels send me a message.
