I came across this box from my mom's move and opened it to find this beautiful bowl  - I do not know the age
The silverplate needs to be lightly polished to brighten the silver to a shiny luster maybe due to age or being closed in a sealed box for several years  - still a very beautiful piece that could be used for so many things or make a great wedding gift or be engraved
