This is wonderfully designed smallish Timbuktu handbag with short handles and a zip top opening, so there are no annoying flaps to flip over to get inside the bag.  It is not a shoulder or cross-over bag.  The two straps extend about 10" from the bag. It can hold a small iPad, but there is not padded pocket for that purpose.
Measures 13 1/2" long at the top, tapering down a little at the bottom; 9 1/2" high; 5" wide on the inside base but it opens wider than that. There is one open 5" high by 4" wide open pocket on the outside front; one wide inside pocket that has a center velcro closure dot which divides it into two pockets if needed; three more pockets on the other side, one of which has another pocket inside it; on the outside of two of those pockets is a pen holder pocket; another zip pocket and another pocket on the outside of the zip pocket. There is also a red band key hook that hides inside the zippered pocket.
