Silver chrismatory box or chrismarium. Bernabé García y Aguilar; Mateo Martínez Moreno. Córdoba, Spain, 1789.

Silver box with a rectangular base with curved minor sides, whose lid follows these lines, and which is decorated with a series of elements engraved on the fronts (flowers) and the upper part (this divided into two covers, one with a vase , and another with the Mystical Lamb on the Book of Seven Seals). Contrast marks allow to locate the embodiment of Cordoba piece. Bernabé García y Aguilar was an active silversmith in Córdoba in the 18th century (remember the silver jug of the Cathedral of the Lord Santiago de Bilbao with marks also of the Bartolomé Gálvez and Aranda marker). Mateo Martínez Moreno was active in Córdoba for approximately the second half of the 18th century and was a faithful contrast of the same city between 1780 and 1804 (year in which he dies); the number that appears under the name contributes the date of 1789.
