    Description

    Here is a lovely very rare 1930's era Silver Plated Christofle Pepper Mill with lovely engine worked top and finial, and with Peugeot internal workings. We believe it came from the Hotel Miramar in Cannes France based on the identical mermaid logo. Hotel Miramar was built in 1929 and served as a grand luxury hotel until the occupation of WWII. A very short period of time! It has the Christofle Paris mark from 1935 and is also marked CHRISTOFLE.
    Condition of the silver plate is very good for its age  There is a slight dent in the bottom as can be seen in one of the photos. It does not detract from its appearance.
