    This gorgeous classically framed collectible boast a rare German stamp to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Roentgen's Nobel Prize in Physics. There are 3 more 1994 British stamps and a holographic radiographic image of the human head. Text on the plaque is written below. This is an exceptional collectible/gift for the right person!
    The back is signed Chuck Mitchell 11-18-94. Frame measurements are: 16" X 19"

    100 YEARS OF PROGRESS
    As we look back on radiology's first 100 years, our thoughts turn to Roentgen and his 1895 discovery. From the crude beginnings, medical imaging has progressed to a new world of computers and high-tech equipment for the betterment of mankind.
    Postage stamps from around the world tell about radiology's unique history and progress. The postage stamp shown in the upper right had corner was introduced by Germany in 1951. This rare stamp was issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Roentgen's Nobel Prize in Physics. The three stamps in the center were produced by great Britain in 1994. They feature modern imaging technology noting medical sonography, magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography.
