One (1) machinist bevel straight edge, 20 inches (500mm) long. Bevel angle is
55 degrees
, please see the 3rd picture for cross sectional dimensions. Also called machinist prism.
The straight edge is made out of cast iron and by itself weigh 10 pounds. It is seasoned for several years for stability.
The straight edge is scraped on the bevel and bottom side, I did notice the print isn't as evenly distributed as I like.
Please treat it as an 80% kit
and it is priced accordingly, you should
reexamine and touch up
before putting it to precision use.
