RS-70 portable unit is an audiovisual indicator (light and speaker).

It won't indicate radiation unless it has reached certain volume which sets off the alarm.
It is designed to warn of high radiation level.
Takes 4 x “D”/"R20" batteries (not included!), comes with a canvas strap.
Made in 1970/1980's.
