Description
Pocket Faradic Battery no.7 Electroshock Quack Medical Device. Manufactured by the Chloride of Silver Dry Cell Battery CO of Baltimore City, Md. The last patent covering this machine was dated 1895 which is when I think the electroshock device was made. The machine is meant for exhibition and important in terms of its history not its present-day use (quack medical device). The portable faradic battery machine was designed to be used by physicians and to be of good quality. The unit is housed in a small double hinged hardwood box in very good state.
