    Pair Of Portuguese 833 Silver Repousse Candlesticks Poppy-Seed Buds Circa late 1930s
    Tall & attractive, Portuguese 833 Silver repousse design pair of candlesticks, each decorated with raised leaf, shell, "L" & "C" scrolled designs, the stems standing upon dome shape round form base on four floral & scroll-work feet. The stem engraved with floral motif, hand chased leaf ground with top cup shaped as a poppy-seed bud. Each has heavy original dark patina, not heavily polished. Overall very good condition, no damage nor repair, wear & tear to silver walls, minor dents, scratches.
