One for your laptop and One for your day planner, books, etc. There is also 2 pockets for a cell phone, pens, pencils, ore really anything you need to store. I purchase all of my merchandise from a MAJOR Reatilor's overstock store. This is not a factory kickback, just over stock. There may be minor marks as the items I purchase were stored in bins at the store its self. There are no stains, tears, or anything noticeable at all.
