15X eyepiece with 2X lens objective with a working distance of 2.638" (67 mm) for 30X total magnification of images
Two 2-watt tungsten bulbs for transmitted and reflected illumination from below, each with adjustable light intensity to obtain optimal illumination with hot, bright light
Rectangular mechanical stage provides left-to-right movement and includes micrometer heads for recording coordinate data with 4in x 2in of travel
