Go there and enjoy! The place will have so much worldwide fame and popularity, that the forces of destruction will be unable to move against it. That was the master plan from the beginning. It was just a matter of determining the proper timing. We the People own The Aslyn Kay and Jenna Rotlindo Beautiful Marble, and WE SHALL LOVE IT AND CONSERVE IT!!
And never forget that without the bravery of your heroines Aslyn Kay and Jenna Rotlindo, the master plan would have been a failure and the place would not have been saved. And yes, I chose Aslyn because I knew (from a lifetime study of supermodels) that she would become famous and thereby help The Aslyn Kay and Jenna Rotlindo Beautiful Marble become famous. My eternal gratitude goes to her for bringing Jenna with her. Jenna was not in the master plan but was such a welcome surprise addition to it. Any movie or anything either appears in (The Wedding Ringer, ETXR), you go see it. And if either of them rings your doorbell, you let them in and treat them to whatever food and drink you have. And get your picture taken with them of course. Now two more brave heroines have added themselves to the story: Emma Rose Levy and Lucretia Lee. They came face to face with something scary that Aslyn and Jenna never encountered.
9 hours from Los Angeles. Go to Bakersfield. Take 178 West to Lake Isabella. Take 155 North to Wofford Heights. Continue straight to Kernville. Turn left and take Mtn 99 North. You can stop to eat at Kern River Brewing Company. You can stop at Sierra Gateway or Riverkern General Store for your supplies. Turn right and take Sherman Pass Road East. Park at Rincon Trail parking loop. Hike north on the Rincon Trail. Cross 2 big saddles (ignore lesser saddles). Leave trail as you turn left at Breanna Creek (see map in this listing). Just follow Breanna Creek downstream. You will know it when you arrive. If you want to follow Emma and Lucretia, stay at Durrwood Creekside Lodge Bed and Breakfast (see their autographs on the clock in the best room) and eat dinner at Ewings on the Kern.
When high elevations of the Sherman Pass Road are open, you can also fly into Las Vegas, make your way to 395, and take Sherman Pass Road from the East. That is a fun scenic option for you international tourists. Walker Pass on 178 is always open if fly into Las Vegas in the winter.
We shall see if the Rincon Trail parking loop has enough capacity for the number of vehicles parking per day. There is some additional parking to the west along Sherman Pass Road. There is also an old mining road to the west that you can also park on. Then you can hike the old road to see the abandoned mines and join up with Rincon Trail later to the north. Or the true macho hikers can keep going north off trail on the west side of the ridges (I warn you, those bushes are mean! This is for experts only!)
Kern River Trail? Forget about it unless you are a gluton for punishment.
You horse riders can bring your horses, although your horse is not going to like the off trail part, so you still have to do some walking. Similar for you off road motorcyclists.
Do not try crossing the Kern River on foot except in extreme low flow! It is too bleeping dangerous! If you come by raft down the Kern River and stop at Breanna Creek, be aware that the granodiorite section of Breanna Creek is steep and very slippery. Instead of coming up the creek, climb the hill to the left of creek and traverse back to the creek once you get on the orange marble section. Lloyds Meadow Road off trail down to Kern River is also super slippery, steep, and dangerous (if I, an expert, get injured doing that, you might die!).
Key dates:
in last 10,000 years: A Native American discovered TAKAJRBM.
20th century: a miner left his equipment in a rock shelter and covered it up with canvas.
January 27, 2013: jcollectibles0 re-discovered TAKAJRBM by total mistake.
November 16, 2013: Aslyn Breanna Kay, Jenna Rotlindo, and jcollectibles0 recreationally hiked to TAKAJRBM for non-commercial scientific research purposes and for the purpose of saving TAKAJRBM from destruction. They happened to take some photographs legally. April Storms-Britt celebrated her birthday in North Carolina, completely unaware that her maybe biggest fan was passing on her words of wisdom to the next generation.
March 11, 2016: jcollectibles0 used the free wifi of McDonald's Restaurant in Lake Isabella, California, USA, to revise this eBay listing and to reveal the exact location to the world.
March 13, 2016: Botanist and jcollectibles0 recreationally hiked to TAKAJRBM. Botanist maybe discovered a new plant species there!
September 6, 2016: Emma Rose Levy, Lucretia Lee, and jcollectibles0 recreationally hiked to TAKAJRBM for same old purposes as above. Same rattlesnake gave us warnings both going and returning. We detoured around the rattler. Round trip timed at 8 hours, 48 minutes, and 38 seconds.
November 16, 2016: Annual Pilgrimage To TAKAJRBM.
January 18, 2017: Sarah Lee and jcollectibles0 recreationally hiked to TAKAJRBM. Going in dead of winter with Breanna Creek flowing cold and hard with icy banks, now that is bravery!
April 12, 2017: Rincon Trail Bimber March
November 16, 2017: 2nd Annual Pilgrimage to TAKAJRBM
May 22, 2018 2nd Annual Rincon Trail Bimber March
June 24, 2018: Tahlia Paris, a secret hero, and jcollectibles0 recreationally hiked to TAKAJRBM. A yellow jacket stung Tahlia on the face, requiring first aid from the extractor in the snake and insect bite kit. All three unknowingly got within two feet of a rattlesnake, which woke up and scurried into a bush. This brings the number of heroes to 8; I do not expect any more heroes. It is such a beaten path now, that you are following too many footsteps to be a hero.
November 16, 2018: 3rd Annual Pilgrimage to TAKAJRBM
May 22, 2019: 3rd Annual Rincon Trail Bimber March
November 16, 2019: 4th Annual Pilgrimage
to TAKAJRBM
I have researched the letter of the law and the regulations very carefully. These photos were legally taken. The circumstances of the photo taking is critical; the eventual use of the photo is irrelevant. Note that no photo includes a model or a prop, utilized a model or a prop, or involved anything more complex than sunlight. Pure nature is all you see. If these photos are illegal, then all photos taken by all hikers must be illegal as well. A lone hiker in an generally accessible place encounters pretty scenery, pulls out a camera, and snaps a photo. That would be illegal also. Also, my purpose was and is recreational scientific research. This was ridiculous luck and an enormous surprise to me. I made a WRONG TURN and found this place by TOTAL MISTAKE. This listing that is 100% for charity is YEARS after I took the photos.
As I prove elsewhere in a very popular listing with 529 views, the coordinates can be determined using Internet alone and do not depend on any use of the land. Sitting at my computer at home is not using the land, both special use and regular use are not applicable.
