    Offered for sale is a circa 1910 business/trade card advertising The Rowley Artificial Leg made by The J. F. Rowley Company, Chicago IL. The business card belonged to W. R. Watsabaugh, Center Point, Iowa.
    The company was created in 1886, in Des Moines, Iowa. It later moved to Chicago IL and was incorporated in 1904. They opened a branch in Roehampton, England, to provide prosthetics to British hospitals during the First World War. J. F. Rowley died in 1938. The company is still active in the U.S. as J. F. Rowley Prosthetics & Orthotics Labs.
