    Description

Big lot of (130) classic Type I/Normal ferro cassette tapes - TDK D, Sony HF, Maxell UR and LN, Scotch BX, Fuji DR, Memorex dBS and MRX I
    Quick summary:
130 tapes all in all. Selling as I have way more than I will ever need. Type I only (no chrome or metal here). All with jewel cases, some with paper inserts. Recording tabs are intact across the board. Jewel cases vary in condition, but none are cracked or broken.
Many tapes - especially the TDK D variants - date from the mid-1980s when cassette tape was at its peak. All tapes look to be in very good condition (mechanically OK, no binding or jams). I have played several of them on my own decks from beginning to end without issues.
Oh, and there's a lot of church sermons and a lot of country music plus some vintage jazz... odd, I know!
    Detailed write-up:
    TDK D (older generation):
black in standard jewel cases. 26 total (24 are C90 and 2 are C60). Some of the labels have writing on them, some are faded, but nothing serious.
    TDK D (newer generation):
clear in (mostly) slim cases. 28 total (13 are C90 and 15 are C60). All with inserts which have writing on them, some cassettes have labels, others don't. 3 of the C60 tapes are new old stock (NOS) in shrinkwrap.
    Maxell UR:
29 total (2 are C90 and 27 are C60). 4 of the C60 tapes have no inserts and no labels. The other 23 have clean inserts, unfortunately they also have custom labels plastered all over the A-side (all the B-sides are clear). They'll come off with some Goo-Gone and a lot of patience, though.
    Maxell LN:
two short C46 tapes, light writing on the A-side labels.
    Scotch BX:
10 total (all C90). Some writing on labels, most have light stains left over from stickers that fell off due to old adhesive. No inserts.
    Memorex dBS:
10 total (9 are C90 and one is C60). All with clean inserts, some have labels.
    Memorex MRX I:
13 total (all C90). Inserts and labels with writing - these are the vintage jazz recordings.
    Sony HF:
7 total (3 are C90 and 4 are C60). Inserts with writing, no labels. Two of the C60 say Hi-Fi instead of HF on them and are accented in blue rather than red.
    Fuji DR:
5 total (four C90 and one C60). No inserts; the labels have very weak adhesive and are peeling off (easily fixed with common household glue).
To the best of my knowledge, all cassettes are intact and should play/record perfectly fine. I will say that the country music (on the newer TDK D) is actually of very good quality, probably dubbed from CDs on a decent deck. With that said, the whole lot is sold as-is - but it's a very nice grab bag which I've carefully inspected and put together for this auction.
    Thanks for looking!
