    BLUE STRAW FLOWER INVALID FEEDER

    5 1/4" Long (Handle to Spout)
    White porcelain invalid feeder decorated on sides, spout and half cover with a blue straw flower pattern and edge trimmed in gold.
    The gold trim is worn but there are no other flaws.  The bottom of the base is incised "WT&C" which was the mark used by Whitall & Tatum, a glass company in  Millville New Jersey that had these made in Germany.  The mark used here was used between 1857 and 1901.  Since it is not stamped "Made in Germany", it probably pre-dates the McKinley trade tariffs which would date it 1857- 1891.
