An exceptional and rare Victorian Mahogany
Doctor's
Apothecary Chest w/ drawer and lid. Complete with bottles, weigh scale, beaker, etc. Lockable, with a hidden carrying handle and a rod to secure the drawer. The bottles are housed in fabric covered compartments, and the scale has a built-in base for securing the shaft. Not sure if the scale is original to the chest.
The condition of the chest is very good; some of the bottles are original, some not
. Many bottles
have
chips, and a few have cracks.
Size of the piece is 10" wide x 3 3/4" deep x 7" tall.
