Offered here is ascarce set of Otis Clapp & Son urology sounds medical instruments
(please, let me know if I'm wrong) in their original wooden case.
Circa 1880. Condition is good.
The ten approximately 11" long instruments have lost some of their plating which is evident in the photos. Still, they are relatively smooth all over. All are marked "Otis Clapp & Son."
The
2 smallest instruments missing.
The case had
probably
been covered with faux leather which is long gone. It also needs some minor repairs to its corner joints on one end. The case measures approximately 14" X 5 3/4" x 1 1/2." It weighs about 3 pounds 5 ounces without packaging.
