Antique OWL DRUG Co Clinical THERMOMETER w/ TODCO script - in ORIGINAL box

4 inch long
antique
glass THERMOMETER (clinical)
that is
still inside a bake-lite or celluloid
tube.  In turn, the tube is inside its
original cardboard box
.  It has the infamous TODCO script writing
The Owl Drug Co.
in black print, gilded into the glass.   It is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE thermometer, put out by the Owl Drug Company in the early 1900's.
Thermometer reads in part
:  "
TODCO  1  MN   T100-100
The Owl Drug Co.
" and it has measurements going up it, along with numbers.  TODCO = The Owl Drug Co

Condition
:   Thermometer has a small hole in the end where the mercury was drained out as a safety precaution.  Otherwise it is perfect and looks like it did on the day it was made.   The black carrying tube it is in is solid, and the box is sturdy.   The label on top of the box has some tattering and staining though entirely legible and well adhered to the box.

This thermometer was in an old time collection of Owl Drug Co. bottles and memorabilia that we recently purchased.  It was not discarded and found later like most of the Owl bottles that are found, this is something that was tucked away long ago and resurfaced in more recent years.   It looks like the day it was made
