I am offering for sale this
Antique Vintage 2" W Cast Steel Tang Handle Gouge Carpenters Woodworkers Tool Inv#CR72
This gouge
is marked
on blade with a mfg name but I can only make out "Cast Steel" (see photos).
Blade had some typical nicks, pitting, rust, and the handle has a few splits but still tight and secure and in
excellent user condition.
I always suggest sharpening to bring it back to optimal use.
Blade
measures approx., 2" W x 5-5/8" L.
Strong socket handle has a nice feel and patina. It is in "as found" condition right out of a carpenters work shop.  It would clean up nicely.
Overall measures 13-3/4" L.
and weighs 13oz.
