1999 Harley Davidson Softail Standard
Bike built using a low mileage, well-maintained softail standard. Bike retains stock chassis and drivetrain (motor/trans) but now includes open belt primary and new rear swingarm for larger wheel/tire combination. Many parts have been color-match powder coated either a satin black (tank/fender) or semi-gloss. Photo of odometer shown in pics from when original gas tank was pulled (would estimate roughly an additional 500-600miles since tank replaced). Bike runs great and super easy to title, register,and insure as it is an OEM Harley.
CleanVIN and titled in my name. Barebones strong running chopper, comfortable to ride with easy to reach bars/controls and milder handling as opposed to more radically raked/stretched out bikes. Please see below for specific details.
Wide-glide front end, bullet fork sliders with 23” frontwheel and brand new tire, new rear wheel to accommodate 240mm wide tire.
Progressive suspension front end lowering forks springs to level bike with the 23” wheel.
Performance machine front and rear brakes. PM timing cover and rear brake master cover.
Zombie Performance custom built riserless handlebars(one-off for this bike).
LC Fabrications Clutch and Brake Pod Deletes (cleans up bars when switches removed).
Steel forward controls (Drag Specialties) powder coated black.
S&S super E carb with speed dealer velocity stack,choke, and breathers.
Villain-style chopper gas tank (no this is not from WCC, it is a repop)
Led Sled rear fender mounted to swingarm
BDL 2” open belt drive with ball bearing lock-up clutch
Mother Road leather solo seat.
Vance and Hines short shot exhaust with chrome tips and baffles currently installed (baffles can simply be slipped out if you want to annoy your neighbors).
Side-mountlicense tag bracket with functioning brake light (rear brake pedal).
Powder-coated rocker box covers. Cometic EST top end gasket kit installed with the new rocker covers (all new cylinder base, head, and rocker box gasket seals far superior to OEM).
