"DAVY CROCKETT GOES TO CONGRESS" 78rpm RECORD SET
- 1955 Walt Disney Productions/Columbia Records #C-517.
Paper photo gatefold jacket (10" x 10" closed) opens to display an inner spread of photos/info on the "Disneyland" TV Production. Featured are stars Fess Parker & Buddy Ebsen.
This was the second of five Crockett programs offered on the "Disneyland" TV show. Both original discs are included.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate surface creasing on jacket with several very minor edge tears & separations (largest sep. approx. 1/8"). Both discs show moderate wear from use with no cracks.
Disc one has a 1/2" x 1/8" edge chip. Though not affecting the needle grooves, this flaw could hamper the playability of the record. Note: We have not played these records on a turntable.
Overall, despite disc one flaw, we consider this a relatively clean example of this fragile paper jacket variety. We feel this scarce set is in displayable and serviceable condition by most standards (see photos).
