WALT DISNEY "MELODY TIME" ORIGINAL 78rpm RECORD SETS LOT
- Includes 2 different original 78rpm record sets associated with Walt Disney's 1948 "MELODY TIME" package feature film (a kind of sequel to "FANTASIA" & "MAKE MINE MUSIC").
Each set is complete with a colorful jacket and inner-jacket gatefold story spread -

"THE STORY OF JOHNNY APPLESEED"
- 1948 RCA Victor Y-368. 3 discs. Features Dennis Day.
(#2.)
"LITTLE TOOT"
- 1948 Capitol Records Album DAS-80. 1 disc. The story (on the record) is told by Don Wilson and The Starligters. Jacket back is a great promo for two other popular Disney Capitol releases ("Mickey and the Beanstalk" & "Tales of Uncle Remus").
YOU ARE BUYING BOTH SETS FOR ONE MONEY.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. Moderate surface creasing & scuffing on jackets with scattered small edge tears (largest being approx. 3/8"). The exceptions are two rather odd diagonal corner cuts & approx. 1.75" spine separation on "Little Toot" jacket.
Moderate surface/stain wear on discs (appears playable - we have not played this disc on a turntable). No cracks or chips. Jacket colors are still bright, bold and attractive.
Overall, we feel these items are still in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos).
Collectively, a scarce pairing for the WALT DISNEY and/or VINTAGE ANIMATION MEMORABILIA enthusiast. On a condition code scale of 1 to 10, the above listed item(s) rated (7-6).
